MEDULOCK is a cement plug. flexible and biodegradable.

MEDULOCK is composed by 6 sizes and enables the medullary caity to be blocked before cement is introduced.

An easy and accurate ancillary allows its settlement.

Characteristics:
MEDULOCK restricts the cement advance into the diaplhysis, makes easier its pressurization and provides an excellent protection to the medullary tissue.

The design promotes its introduction. After a few days MEDULOCK is completely resorbed.

MEDULOCK  allows renewal operations, by minimizing loss of bone mass during the cement shrinking phase. An internal channel with a unic diameter reaches the base of the first fin.

Composition :

Pharmaceutical gelatine from porcine origin, glycerol, water, methyl parahydrobenzoate. The conditions for tracking the raw materials and veterinary checking of the original animals comply with the requirements of Standard EN 12442 for pharmaceutical industry material suppliers.

IMPORTANT : The MEDULOCK size corresponds to the diaphysis diameter to be blocked, calibrated with gauges. Consequently the right diameter of MEDULOCK is higher than diaphysis diameter.
